SANTA'S MAGICAL TROLLEY EXPRESS is a delightful, interactive holiday show presented in two parts. Children and their families first go on an exciting trolley ride with Mrs. Claus and the Conductor, all the way to Santa’s North Pole workshop, where the real merriment comes alive!
Meet Santa Claus and some of his Elves, and see what keeps St. Nick busy in his Workshop. Join us as we create magic: play games, sing holiday songs, and enjoy a special story told by Santa himself! Your adventure with us wouldn’t be complete without having some tasty cookies and cocoa. Remember the look on your children’s faces forever with photos taken of them with Santa in his sleigh.
Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole, charming and quaint with a touch of whimsy, has been designed especially for us by a top, local, award-winning set designer with over 30 years’ experience. Our show was lovingly created and written by talented local artists who have been entertaining local children for decades - in fact, they’re the very folks you’ll be interacting with during your Polar Adventure!
We have brought together some of Chicagoland’s finest children’s entertainers to portray the charming characters of Santa’s Magical Trolley Express: Mrs. Claus, the Conductor, and the Elves; the performers playing Santa Claus have been entertaining families and businesses every December for over 25 years.
Our costumes have been created for our performers by a fashion designer who creates and sews period costumes used in historical reenactments nation-wide. Our Santa sports a real beard, and his wooly, red, fur-trimmed coat is custom-made just for him, while Mrs Claus and the Elves proudly wear costumes in a style reminiscent of the Charles Dickens era.
For the 2016 holiday season, Santa’s Magical Trolley Express will be presented in two locations: at the Little Beans Cafe in Evanston and the DuPage Children’s Museum in Naperville. Polar Adventures will be offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from November 29th through December 23rd. The whole experience lasts 90 minutes. There will be nine showtimes to choose from each day at both locations: the first show starts at 9:00am and the last show starts at 6:30pm.
Your Polar Adventure ticket also includes entry to either Little Beans or DuPage Children’s Museum. Plan your visit so your children can enjoy their Polar Adventure as well as some quality play time in either the indoor village, playground, and café at Little Beans, or the many indoor attractions at DuPage Children’s Museum.
